As the largest school of its type in Canada, the UBC Faculty of Forestry is recognized both nationally and internationally for its degree programs and the quality of its research.

Earn a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Urban Forestry degree through 1 of 6 programs offered by the Faculty of Forestry. Degree programs included are Urban Forestry, Conservation, Forestry, Forest Sciences, Wood Products and Bioeconomy.

Participating in co-op allows students to integrate their studies with valuable employment experience by alternating their eight academic terms with five co-op work terms over a five year period. Upon successful completion of the program, students receive a co-op designation on their degree.

Forestry co-op students are available for 4, 8 or 12 month work terms and bring to employers a solid technical foundation, including field and lab experience, complimented by enthusiasm, a strong desire to learn and critical thinking.
