Engineering within the Faculty of Applied Science prepares students to apply knowledge to effect enduring, positive change for society. With 13 Undergraduate and 8 Master of Engineering disciplines with a co-op option, our program strives to create meaningful connections between students and the experiential opportunities that will transform them into the engineers of tomorrow.

Engineering Co-op students offer diverse skills ranging from project management to engineering design and R&D, and have worked in numerous industries including aerospace, biomedical, and software industries. Prior to joining the Engineering Co-op Program, Engineering students complete at least two full years of Engineering courses before commencing their first work term and complete additional professional development activities within the co-op program focusing on fundamental workplace skills such as communication, time management, and teamwork.
